Welcome to West Coast Hedgehogs!

Welcome to West Coast Hedgehogs, located in Corvallis, Oregon. We're no more than an hour and a half from Portland, Eugene, or Salem! Health and longevity are our absolute first priority, and we provide a lifetime guarantee against Wobbly Hedgehog Syndrome. We breed carefully to minimize the chances of WHS and early onset cancer in our hedgehogs. Friendly temperaments and appearance are also important to us; our babies are always well-socialized and we offer a variety of colors and patterns. Our hedgehogs are all registered with the International Hedgehog Registry.

Along with raising excellent pets, we take in local rehomes and rescues, offer hedgehog boarding services, and are active in the local and global hedgehog communities helping educate and offer support for other owners. Check out our Care page for a link to our care book, which you can download for free!

Please feel free to browse our site for information on us and hedgehogs in general. If you are interested in purchasing a hedgehog from us, head on over to the Available page for more information.

WCH is Moving!

June 2014

Hey everyone - WCH is moving! Nathan and I will be preparing our new house for the move and getting the rest of our belongings settled in, and plan on transitioning all of our animals over to the new place in late June when the house is ready. We will still be in Corvallis, but will be in a quieter part of town and hopefully have easier parking for our customers. We are excited for the change and looking forward to living somewhere a bit more affordable. Thank you all for your support!

Come See Us At The PacNW Reptile and Exotic Animal Expo!

West Coast Hedgehogs will have a booth at this year's PacNW Reptile and Exotic Animal Expo! Come see us in the small animal room and meet a few of our ambassador hedgies, ask any questions you may have, and purchase supplies if there's something you're looking for. We will NOT have any hedgies available for adoption to take home at the expo - this is for the safety of our animals, we prefer to get to know our adoptive families prior to sending any of our animals home. An expo is already a stressful atmosphere for an animal and we only bring our most tolerant hedgies and ensure they get frequent breaks from the public. It would just be too stressful for an available animal to be in an expo environment and especially go home with a new family the same weekend that may not be prepared for them. Thank you for understanding!
